I will be conducting a workshop in Yellowstone National Park along with Jess Lee June 3-9, 2012.

Jess is one of the country's leading nature and wildlife photographers. Jess has been living, photographing, guiding and instructing in the Yellowstone eco-system for over 30 years. Jess has been featured on the cover of National Geographic Magazine, Outdoor Life, Sports Afield, Defenders of Wildlife, National Parks Magazine and others too numerous to mention.

The itinerary will include meeting in West Yellowstone, Montana at 5 PM June 3. After a brief orientation and equipment check we will proceed into the park for our first afternoon and evening of shooting. During the next 6 days we will leave West Yellowstone well before dawn to set up in time for our sunrise shooting. Our exact daily location will vary depending on the location of the wildlife but these will be long exciting days with opportunities to photograph subjects as varied as newborn mammals, hunting predators, fishing eagles and osprey; of course there will also be bubbling geysers and mud pots. After our morning shoot we will return to West Yellowstone where the mid day will be filled with the instruction of Photoshop. I will be demonstrating my post-production techniques that will make your images rival others. Techniques on color management, sharpening, noise reduction, High Dynamic Range (HDR), Smart Objects and much more will be discussed.
